We Are Episcopal Charities

This Fall, in lieu of our annual 61st Gala, Episcopal Charities is keeping things simple and inviting you to remember the essence of our mission and purpose.

With this in mind, we are aiming to raise $300k toward our ongoing work and the support of our Legacy and Parish partners.

The videos below introduce you to three of our Legacy Partners. If you are inspired by the work you see, you are invited to give generously.

We Are grateful

As people of gratitude, we are grateful for you

and for all who support the work of justice and mercy.

We Are grateful

As people of faith, we are grateful for a loving God

who comforts and challenges us in this beautiful and fragile life.

We Are grateful.

As people of character, we are grateful to prayerfully acknowledge

the blessings and privileges we enjoy – even in a time of crisis and challenge.

We Are grateful

As people of hope, we are grateful for the extraordinary opportunity

to share these blessings and privileges – that our neighbors-in-need may find, in us, generous friends.

We Are grateful

As people of joy, we are grateful for the miracle of deep peace

that flows to us every time we give of ourselves – yes – to be fully and joyfully alive!

Despite all that has happened in the world most recently, so many of us live in circles of abundance.

If you can, reach into that abundance and give greatly. We believe that to whom much is given, more is expected.

Episcopal Charities can do more, if you do more. As we all know, the needs of the most vulnerable and those who are suffering continue to grow.

“While we do our good works let us not forget that the real solution lies in a world in which charity will have become unnecessary.”
